NORCET assesses candidates knowledge in nursing, general awareness & aptitude. It provides a standardized platform for aspiring nursing professional to showcase their skills & secure employment opportunities in prestigious medical institutions.

(Employees State Insurance Corporation) is a examination for nursing conducted to recruit nurses in ESIC hospitals & healthcare facilities across India. The exam assesess candidates knowledge & skill in nursing subjects such as Anatomy, Physiology, Pharmacology, Medical Surgical Nursing, Maternal & Child Health Nursing & Community Health Nursing.

Genex Suptenndu Group proudly hosts its annual Institutional Fest, an extravaganza of talent, creativity, and innovation that brings together students, faculty, and the community. This grand celebration serves as a platform for nurturing diverse talents, fostering collaboration, and promoting a sense of camaraderie among all participants. With a rich history and an ever-growing legacy, the "G-FEST" has become a much- awaited event on the academic calendar. Seven wings of Genex Supetenndu group accompany each other and make this event successful. The wings are: Genex B.Ed.College, Suptenndu Memorial D.Ed College, Genex College of Pharmaceutical Science and Technology Chinsurah, Genex Nursing Institute, Lakshmi Nursing Institute and Basudeb Nursing Academy & Genex Public School.

The concept of "G-FEST" was started in 2018. The name "G-FeST" has significance on its own. Here G stands for Genex, F stands for Foundation, S stands for Suptenndu & T stands for Teachers, as this event is celebrated on every 5th September. Each year, the "G-FEST" is based on a unique theme that sets the tone for the festivities. The themes have encompassed a wide range of topics, igniting the imaginations of all participants.

The Institutional Fest kicks off with a vibrant cultural extravaganza. Performances from various regions of the country and beyond grace the stage, showcasing dance forms, music genres, and theatrical acts. Students, As Well As The Faculties Of Each Seven Wings Join Hands To Create An Unforgettable Experience That Captivates The Audience. This Cultural Day Aims To Celebrate Diversity And Foster An Appreciation For Different Art Forms. Distinguished Speakers Are Invited To Deliver Inspiring Guest Lectures And Conduct Workshops. These Sessions Provide Invaluable Insights, Career Paths, And Emerging Trends, Motivating Students To Broaden Their Horizons And Pursue Their Passions With Dedication.

Many dignified people, like MPs, local MLAs, Social workers, Celebrities, Retired High ranking government officials & management of different health institute are invited to attend this event. Guardians are also invited to attend the G-Fest.

What is a Student

CREDIT CARD SCHEME?

Under the visionary leadership of Mamata Banerjee, Hon’ble Chief Minister, West Bengal, The Higher Education Department, Government of West Bengal has introduced the Student Credit Card Scheme for the students of West Bengal to enable them to pursue education without having any financial constraints. This scheme is designed to support the students to pursue secondary, higher secondary, madrasah, undergraduate and postgraduate studies including professional degree and other equivalent courses in any School, Madrasah, College, University and other affiliated institutes within and outside India. Students studying in various coaching institutions for appearing in different competitive examinations like Engineering, Medical, Law, IAS, IPS, WBCS etc, can also avail the loan under this scheme. A student from West Bengal can obtain a maximum loan of Rs. 10 lakhs @ 4% per annum simple interest from the State Cooperative Bank and its affiliated Central Cooperative Banks and District Central Cooperative Banks and Public/ Private Sector Banks. 1% interest concession will be provided to the borrower if the interest is fully serviced during the study period. The upper age limit for the interested students has been kept as 40(forty) years at the time of applying for loan. The repayment period shall be fifteen (15) years for any loan availed under this Credit Card including the Moratorium/ repayment holiday.
